All our hemp products are sourced and produced by Aurum Farms
A small family owned and operated hemp farm on the South Coast of NSW.
Having experienced the benefits of hemp and looking for ways to further share our passion for small-scale, locally-sourced wellness products Aurum Farms was established in 2023.
To get us underway we obtained a license with the Department of primary industries Australia which gave us the green light to begin our hemp cultivation.

Aurum Canna and Aurum Farms also aim to contribute to the growing evidence-base.
We believe we have a platform to support further research and innovation in the field of hemp cultivation. By documenting our approach, experimenting with our blends and collaborating with experts, we aim to develop and share improved organic farming techniques and explore new applications for hemp for wellbeing.
Our Process

Organic Hemp Farming
We choose to grow different hemp stains that thrive in our Australian soils, and we consistently work hard to ensure soil quality. Throughout our growing season we tend carefully to our plants and soils to ensure the highest quality products at every stage. We grow directly from seeds as the plants thrive when nurtured from the early stages.
We have been farming using organic practices since day one, choosing land that has never been sprayed with harmful chemicals. “Organic” on our farms means the hemp has been farmed with no
pesticides or herbicides, no GMOs, no synthetic chemical fertilisers, improving soil nutrients derived from organic inputs, regenerative practices and ensuring traceability from seed to shelf.
When our hemp plants are ready for harvest. We harvest by hand instead of using machinery and we select the harvest time for each plant individually to ensure plants are at their optimal flowering stage. Timing is important as a large percentage of the plants beneficial compounds are created in the last weeks of a plant’s maturation.

Ensuring Purity
We dry our hemp naturally in our purpose-built drying facilities ensuring optimal quality of our hemp. We use third-party testing through independent labs to test our raw materials for purity and potency. We test to ensure consistency in results. Our tests ensure that our products meet the Australian standards set for contaminants, heavy metals and mycotoxins. Our lab tests confirm that what’s in the bottle is only what’s meant to be and that unwanted impurities stay out.
After weighing numerous extraction options, we discovered that lipid infusion offered the best product. Lipid infusion is a natural extraction process that leverages organic coconut oil and pressure to infuse the beneficial compounds of hemp into the oil.
Lipids are naturally occurring fatty acids that provide a toxin-free way to separate compounds.
It’s a simple but effective method that preserves the beneficial nutrients with minimal processing.
Without the use of any harsh chemicals, the integrity of the cells of the plant remain intact and free of any contaminants.

Maximising Bioavailability
Once we’ve infused the full range of phytocompounds from our hemp plants into the oil, we strain the mixture using a large press to ensure no oil is wasted.
With our premium micronised hemp range we then take it a step further utilising advanced Nano Technology which allows for up to 50% higher Bioavailability. One of the major benefits of utilising lipid infusion paired with nano technology is that it offers full-spectrum, whole-plant extracts that don’t use any alcohol or harsh solvents.
That means many of the nutrients, vitamins, essential fats, antioxidants and proteins from the hemp plant are preserved and contained in the end product.
